The UFDC Teacher Resources Collection (UFDC TRC) is a database of original educational materials that can be used in the K-12 classroom. All educational materials within the collection use University of Florida Digital Collections (UFDC) resources as its primary required material.

Searching for lessons can be done through subject category, keyword, intended audience/grade level, and educational standard searches. At this time, the easiest way to search for lessons is to use the All Items tab and look at the facets on the left for genre (or resource type).

Teaching resources include original lesson plans, evaluation scales, rubrics, units, coloring book art, teacher guides, activities, games, and other teaching materials. They cover the broad subjects of English language arts, social studies/history, mathematics, and science.  All are intended to be aligned to educational standards, including the Common Core State Standards and content standards such as the NCTE/IRA Standards for the English Language Arts and the National Curriculum Standards for Social Studies: A Framework for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment.

The resources are contributions by experienced educators and follow a general template. These educational materials are free to use and are assigned a Creative Commons license. They may be reused, remixed, etc. as long as the reuse is not for commercial purposes. Educators may submit teaching resources that will be considered for inclusion in the database.

In addition, teaching resources developed for individual UFDC collections prior to 2013 have been added to the UFDC TRC. These resources are aligned to various educational standards but do not use a specific template. The resources can be searched within the UFDC TRC, but are also linked at:
